New World: Aeternum Turkulon event begins November 20th

New World: Aeternum players will soon have the opportunity to participate in the Turkolon event, a returning event from the original New World. This event is centered around a giant turkey and its flock, fittingly timed with Thanksgiving on the 28th of November.

During the New World: Aeternum Turkolon event, players will be able to track down the giant turkey and its smaller bird army to obtain event-specific gear. Turkolon, a level 66 boss, will be roaming in various areas such as Everfall, Brightwood, Mourningdale, and Restless Shore. The rewards for defeating Turkolon and its Turkey army are detailed below, with players needing to defeat Turkolon up to 16 times to earn all rewards.

Regular Turkey Loot

Regular turkeys can be found throughout the map, with players likely focusing more on skinning than combat.

• Diamond Gypsum (20% Drop Chance)

• Turkey’s Treasure (33% Drop Chance)

  • Limit: 3 per day
  • Contains coins

• Turkulon’s Claw Skinning Knife (20% Drop Chance)

  • Limit: One per event
  • Provides extra loot (Poultry, Poultry Thigh, Poultry Breast) when skinning turkeys, during and after the event.

Turkulon’s Claw Skinning Knife Rewards from Regular Turkeys

Use the Turkulon’s Claw Skinning Knife during the event to obtain additional loot from regular turkeys:

• Infused Turkey Coating (15% Drop Chance)

  • Limit: 5 per day
  • Major damage boost against Turkolon
  • Minor damage boost against other beasts
  • Item no longer available after event

• Infused Turkey Ward Potion (15% Drop Chance)

  • Limit: 5 per day
  • Major damage absorption from Turkolon’s attacks
  • Minor damage absorption from other beasts
  • Item no longer available after event

• Turkey Luck Potion (15% Drop Chance)

  • Limit: 5 per day
  • Increases chance of receiving Turkolon drops by 5% for 5 minutes
  • Item no longer available after event
