Indie developer Stunlock Studios has announced details about the first post-launch update for V Rising, and it promises to bring significant new content to the vampiric survival action RPG.

The upcoming update will introduce a new region located “just north of Silverlight.” While specific details about this region are scarce at the moment, players can expect to encounter a “deadly new gauntlet of V Bloods.” Each region in V Rising features its own unique theme, challenges, and mini-bosses known as “V Bloods” that offer power-ups to players.

One of the major highlights of the 1.1 update is the addition of the highly requested “Fusion Forge,” which will allow players to craft customized jewels to enhance their gameplay experience and tailor their character builds to their liking. Previously, loot and jewels were mostly randomized, making this new crafting feature a welcomed addition.

With the new Fusion Forge, players can combine their favorite weapons with desired traits or attributes to create a new jewel that imparts those modifiers to a piece of gear. This feature will significantly impact the end-game experience by enabling players to craft specialized gear.

Additionally, Stunlock is introducing a long-awaited feature called “risk-free” player-versus-player combat. This new mode will enable players to engage in duels or set up PVP arenas in their castles without the risk of losing gear or health. The PVP modes can accommodate multiple players for epic battles.

The 1.1 update for V Rising is set to be rolled out gradually throughout 2025, with promises of more undisclosed content and features from Stunlock in the future.
