‘Skydance’s Behemoth’ Gets First Quest 3 Trailer Ahead of December Release
Skydance’s Behemoth Set to Launch on Major VR Headsets in December
Skydance’s Behemoth is scheduled to release on all major VR headsets in December, making it one of the highly anticipated VR game releases of the year. A recent preview of the game running on Quest 3 showcases impressive visuals and gameplay.
Originally slated for a November 14th release, developer Skydance Games has decided to push back the launch of Behemoth to December 5th to ensure that the game meets the high standards set for their next “AAA” VR title.
Compatible with Quest 2/3/Pro, PSVR 2, and PC VR, Behemoth promises a mix of exploration, combat, environmental puzzles, and innovative VR-specific design elements inspired by the success of Skydance Games’ previous VR title, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners.
While trailers have been released over the past few months, focusing primarily on gameplay for PSVR 2 and PC, the studio has yet to showcase native Quest 3 support in action. However, with its potential to rival releases like Batman: Arkham Shadow and Metro Awakening, Behemoth could prove to be a standout title this year.
