Shoe Thieves Leave Owner Devastated

A shocking crime left the owner of Sole Bros in Downtown Cincinnati reeling after three thieves stole over 100 right-footed shoes in a late-night robbery. The owner, Hunter Emigh, was considering closing his shop permanently due to the significant blow to his business.

Security footage captured the thieves in action, with one seen rummaging through shelves and making off with the stolen shoes, clothing, and personal belongings. Another thief was caught on camera carrying multiple shoes, while a third suspect stood guard outside the store.

Aftermath photos revealed the chaos left behind by the thieves, with empty shoe boxes, ransacked shelves, and discarded single shoes scattered throughout the store. Emigh estimated the stolen products and damage to his store would cost him approximately $45,000.

The Cincinnati Police Department is investigating the burglary, but the impact on Emigh was profound. He contemplated closing the store for good, especially after facing challenges in the past, such as a car crashing into his older store 18 months ago.

Despite the hardships, Emigh expressed gratitude for the community’s support and announced that the store would remain open to continue serving the city.
