Goblincleanup

Goblin Cleanup has successfully reached its funding goal on Kickstarter within one hour of launch, along with surpassing several stretch goals. With seventeen days remaining, the game is set to become one of the top Kickstarter gaming projects this year.

The premise of cute goblin girls cleaning a dungeon resonates with me, especially as a former custodian and a fan of goblins in fantasy. I find goblins more relatable than the elitist elves often portrayed in fantasy stories. The popularity of goblins in recent years can be attributed to their underdog status in high fantasy hierarchies, which Goblin Cleanup emphasizes by showcasing them as servants to a dark lord.

Backers have unlocked various stretch goals, including third-person view mode, a rune system, and in-game emotes. The addition of an Egyptian-themed dungeon as a stretch goal is unexpected but adds an intriguing element to the game.

Future stretch goals include Boombox for playing music while cleaning and Hardcore Mode for a more challenging experience. Additional stretch goals are teased, creating anticipation among supporters.

Support the project on Kickstarter and try out the demo on Steam for a unique gaming experience. Happy cleaning!
