Jessica Chastain dragged after blasting JetBlue over a $15 refund

Oscar winner Jessica Chastain faced backlash on social media after criticizing JetBlue over a $15 credit for her in-flight entertainment.

The actress, known for her role in “Zero Dark Thirty,” expressed her frustration on X (formerly Twitter) in a now-deleted post following a malfunction in the flight entertainment system during a 6-hour flight.

In her deleted tweet, Chastain wrote, “Thank you @JetBlue for your $15.00 credit. My flight cost $1,500, and the credit is only 1/100 of what I paid. Strange that I paid that for your flight entertainment system that didn’t work for the entire 6-hour flight, but I guess it was worth it for this $15 credit.”

Chastain also attached her receipt to the tweet and continued to express her dissatisfaction.

After JetBlue apologized to Chastain on X and requested a direct message to look into the issue, the actress complied, sharing a screenshot of her previous conversation with the airline’s customer service.

Despite being issued the $15 credit, Chastain insisted on more compensation due to the high cost of the flight for both her and her husband.

Despite her demands, the service agent informed Chastain that there was limited action they could take.

Chastain’s complaints received criticism from online users, with some labeling her as “tone-deaf” given the recent natural disasters affecting many Floridians.
