All the times ex-GOP Rep. Liz Cheney ripped 'radical' Kamala Harris before endorsement

Former Republican Rep. Liz Cheney has been a vocal critic of Vice President Kamala Harris for years, referring to her as a “radical liberal” who “sounds just like Karl Marx.” This criticism continued even after the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot that led to Cheney’s split with the Republican Party.

Despite her past criticisms, Cheney recently endorsed Harris and will campaign with her on Thursday. This marks a significant shift in her stance towards the former California Democratic senator and vice president.

Cheney’s criticism of Harris dates back to April 2019 when she mocked Harris for suggesting a conversation about allowing convicted felons to vote. Cheney’s public statements and social media posts consistently targeted Harris, even after she was chosen as Joe Biden’s running mate in August 2020.

In various interviews and tweets, Cheney criticized Harris for her liberal policies, far-left voting record, and approach to governance. She also raised concerns about Harris’ absence on key issues, such as the US border crisis.

Despite their differences, Cheney’s endorsement of Harris reflects her belief in the need to prioritize the greater good over personal preferences. She emphasized the danger posed by Donald Trump and indicated her intention to vote for Harris in the upcoming election.

Cheney and Harris will campaign together in Ripon, Wis., highlighting the importance of unity and collaboration in a battleground state where the Democratic nominee currently holds a slight lead.

Both Cheney and the Harris campaign have yet to respond to requests for comment on their partnership.
