Throne and Liberty’s Steam Deck anti-cheat malady seems cured for now

Throne and Liberty’s recent release has been a huge success, climbing up the Steam charts rapidly. However, there have been some unexpected issues with the Steam Deck. Despite working fine in previous betas, reports started coming in about players being kicked from servers due to Easy Anti-Cheat errors.
As of now (October 2nd), the issues seem to have been resolved, and players can enjoy the game on their Steam Deck without any problems. It seems that the issue with Easy Anti-Cheat was simply a matter of not enabling support for the Linux-powered SteamOS in the final release build.
Thankfully, no one has been banned for trying to play on the Steam Deck, so this can be considered a positive outcome. This is a stark contrast to other cases where anti-cheat software has caused compatibility issues on portable devices.
Throne and Liberty now runs smoothly on the Steam Deck, with minor adjustments needed for optimal performance. Despite some small UI issues, the game is playable and runs well on the handheld device.
