The Israeli military has stated that its air force conducted numerous strikes on “dozens of Hezbollah terror targets” over the course of Friday and Saturday.
Lebanon’s National News Agency has reported a series of airstrikes in and around the city of Baalbek in the eastern region, targeting “factories, warehouses,” and residential areas.
According to the agency, at least six individuals lost their lives in a strike on a house in the northeastern Hermel region. Additionally, a rescue team associated with the Hezbollah ally Amal movement stated that five of its members were killed in the southern region.
The Israeli military has confirmed that there were “approximately eight” launches from Lebanon that landed in uninhabited areas close to the Israeli-annexed territory.
