Man found dead, another seriously injured on the Upper East Side

A man was discovered deceased and another individual was severely wounded in an alleged stabbing incident on the Upper East Side following a heated argument that spiraled out of control on Sunday afternoon, as per police and sources.

Authorities were alerted to an assault at 232 East 95th St. around 1:30 p.m. and arrived to find a gruesome scene.

The unidentified deceased man had sustained injuries to the chest and neck, according to police. He was pronounced dead at the location.

The other individual involved, an unidentified 27-year-old, remained at the scene and suffered cuts across his body, as reported by the police.

He was taken to New York Cornell Medical Hospital in serious but stable condition.

Authorities recovered two knives, but it’s unclear who initiated the altercation.

The Office of Chief Medical Examiner has not yet determined the cause of death for the victim.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
