Dark Space & the Great Meteor marks Mighty Peach’s ultimate space-themed escapade in Princess Peach: Showtime. As she faces off against aliens for the third time, there are only five Sparkle Gems to collect during this stage-play.

Below, we have listed the locations of these gems in the order you will encounter them. Feel free to jump ahead if you are searching for specific collectibles.

Ribbon

At the beginning of the level while traversing platforms, you will come across the Ribboneer Theet being harassed by minions. Use nearby asteroids to scare off the minions, and the Ribboneer will reward you with a Ribbon as a token of gratitude.

Ribbons can be used to unlock new outfits for Princess Peach’s companion, Stella.

Sparkle Gem #1

While progressing along the platforms at the start of the level, you will receive this Sparkle Gem at the end of the route. The trigger for obtaining it is not entirely clear, but it seems to be related to ensuring that none of the pink meteors/asteroids damage the platform you are on.

Sparkle Gem #2

After leaving the moving platforms and battling an alien miniboss, strike a pose using ‘ZL’ or ‘ZR’ on the highlighted spotlight.

Rescue all the Theets in the subsequent room to acquire the second Sparkle Gem.

Sparkle Gem #3

Next, you must utilize your Mighty powers to defeat the Sour Bunch’s minions and prevent them from abducting Professor Theet!

Sparkle Gem #4

While navigating space with the Mighty Sparkla, eliminate all asteroids to reveal a Sparkle Gem!

Sparkle Gem #5

As you reach the conclusion of the level, you will have the opportunity to destroy a massive meteor. In addition to this feat, you will secure your fifth and final Sparkle Gem!
