FromSoftware has recently rolled out a new update for Elden Ring, known as patch 1.14. This update specifically aims to address concerns raised by players regarding the difficulty of the final boss in Shadow of the Erdtree. To make the encounter more manageable, FromSoftware has reduced certain stats of the final boss, such as attack damage, attack stamina, and attack range. – Final Boss balance adjustments:
– Changes made to the final boss of “SHADOW OF THE ERDTREE” include:
– Adjusted action pattern at battle start.
– Tweaked some attack moves.
– Reduced damage of certain attacks.
– Lowered stamina damage of some attacks.
– Decreased attack range of non-weapon-based attacks.
– Improved visibility of attack effects.

– PvP-exclusive balance adjustments:
– Equipment changes:
– Reduced damage of Backhand Blades against players.
– Decreased damage of Spears’ dual wield attacks.
– Lowered damage of Pata weapon.
– Spread Crossbow no longer causes headshot damage motion on players.
– Skill adjustments:
– Scattershot Throw and Discus Hurl now have decreased damage on players.
– Weed Cutter has decreased poise value against players.

– General balance adjustments:
– Equipment changes for various weapons.
– Weapon Arts adjustments for Light, Darkness, Dynastic Sickleplay, Shield Strike, Moon-and-Fire Stance, Devonia’s Vortex.

– Possible unstable performance fixes:
– PS5 version: Improve unstable framerate by using “Rebuild Database” option.
– PC versions: Check for unintentional Ray Tracing causing performance issues.
