Sony show the PS5 Pro in a 30th Anniversary image

This December marks the 30th anniversary of PlayStation, and Sony has exciting plans for the celebration. They have also hinted at the announcement of the PS5 Pro, as the console can be seen in promotional material.

Can you spot it? It may be a bit challenging to see, so let’s zoom in between the bottom of the PlayStation logo and the bottom of the number three.

There it is, the triple-striped PS5 console design that was leaked recently.

For the 30th anniversary celebrations, Sony has planned the following:

• My First GT. This holiday season, anticipate a free trial version aimed at attracting players of all skill levels to Gran Turismo 7. The release will include favorite cars, tracks, and race events to evoke nostalgia and excitement. More details on My First GT will be available to all PS5 and PS4 players this holiday.

• Digital game soundtracks. Sony Music will collaborate to release digital soundtracks from popular PlayStation franchises on Spotify and other platforms from October to January. Included soundtracks will be from games like God of War, Twisted Metal, and Starhawk.

• Shapes of Play. “Shapes of Play” is a new product collection designed by the PlayStation design team. It includes games like “Shapes of Play: Battle” and “Shapes of Play: Create” for creating fun moments with iconic shapes.

• Free online multiplayer weekend and esports tournaments. Sony will host a free online multiplayer weekend and esports tournaments later this month to celebrate the online gaming community on PlayStation.
