Remastering these games was initially announced in 2022 but faced delays. Now, with a confirmed release date, fans can look forward to experiencing the enhanced features and gameplay. The remastered version includes updated battle SFX, auto-save function, and a conversation log to improve the overall gaming experience.

In addition to the remastered games, fans can also explore Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, a spiritual successor that offers a turn-based JRPG experience. Designed for both Suikoden fans and newcomers to the genre, Eiyuden Chronicle promises a nostalgic journey with modern gameplay elements.

Despite the passing of Suikoden co-creator Yoshitaka Murayama, the legacy of these beloved games lives on through remasters and new projects that honor their influence on the RPG genre.
