Sony and Firewalk Studios have recently rolled out a new Concord update for PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam and Epic). The latest patch, identified as version 01.003.006 on PS5, is now up for download and brings a handful of fixes. It is important to note that installing this new Concord update is necessary to enjoy the game and its online features.

Since the official launch of the game just a few days ago, this patch focuses on addressing minor issues raised by the player community. One significant improvement is the visibility of the requeue option after a match, enabling players to quickly re-enter matchmaking.

Firewalk has also lowered the level requirement for accessing Concord’s “Rivalry” game mode playlist, which includes more advanced and competitive modes like Cargo Run and Clash Point played across multiple rounds with no respawns. Restricting inexperienced Freegunners from these modes seems logical, but it may have resulted in longer queue times for Rivalry.

Our comprehensive Concord review will be released later this week, but our initial impressions are positive. The gunplay and player movement feel smooth and satisfying, while the diverse hero roster adds depth to matches. Despite this, the overall reception of the game has been negative since its initial showcase by Sony earlier this year. For further insights, check out our analysis on why gamers are rooting for Concord to fail.
