2.5D retro sci-fi adventure game REPLACED gets delayed to 2025
Publisher Coatsink and developer Sad Cat Studios announced a delay for Replaced, moving its release to 2025.
Replaced will no longer launch in 2024 as previously planned. The developers require additional time to meet expectations and deliver a high-quality game.
When Replaced does launch, it will be accessible on Windows PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass.
Here is a statement from Sad Cat Studios:
Hey everyone,
We have decided to delay the release of REPLACED to 2025. Our initial timeframe was overly optimistic, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. Developing REPLACED presents unique challenges, and we are dedicated to creating something truly special. We need more time to ensure that we meet our own high standards and the expectations of our fans. Join our Discord for regular development updates and discussions.
REPLACED was showcased at Summer Game Fest and will also be playable at Gamescom. We invite everyone to come and experience it firsthand! For those unable to attend, we have a special surprise planned for later this week.
We are committed to making REPLACED a game you will love, so we are going the extra mile to deliver an exceptional experience!
Best regards, Sad Cat Studios Team
