Wolfeye Studios reveals first look at in-development retro sci-fi ARPG
Wolfeye Studios, an independent development studio co-led by President Raphael Colantonio (founder and co-creator of both Dishonored and Prey), has unveiled their upcoming game currently in the works.
Although details about the game are limited, Colantonio has described it as a first-person, retro science-fiction action RPG. The game is said to be an “ambitious new IP” rooted in the essence of earlier Arkane games, offering a “rich and intricate world, player freedom, and a deep RPG experience.”
The team has recently completed the pre-production phase of the project and is now fully immersed in production. The game was teased at GDC 2024 through a photo of a whiteboard in their Austin office bearing the words “retro sci-fi” and “first-person.”
Here are some additional screenshots:

Even though the game has just entered full production, the team aims to gather early feedback from their fans through an exclusive and limited private alpha test.
“We are thrilled to officially announce that our next game is actively in production and is a first-person action RPG,” stated Wolfeye President and Creative Director Raphael Colantonio. “Fans of my previous works such as Dishonored and Prey will find familiarity, as will RPG enthusiasts. As we seek the right publishing partner, we are focused on involving our community in the game’s development through a limited private Alpha in 2025. We are eager for fans to witness what we are creating.”
