Daughter's 911 call reveals moment gunman targeted real estate mogul's wife

A shocking 911 call has revealed the harrowing moment when the daughter of a prominent Florida real estate mogul came face-to-face with a hired gunman allegedly sent by her own father to carry out a hit on her mother.

Sergio Pino, the president of Century Homebuilders Group, tragically took his own life amid an FBI investigation into a failed murder-for-hire scheme aimed at his estranged wife, Tatiana, with whom he had been embroiled in a bitter divorce battle for over two years.

Recently released audio from a 911 call captures the terrifying ordeal that unfolded as the couple’s daughter, Alessandra, found herself in the presence of a gunman reportedly hired by her father, leaving her fearing for her mother’s safety.

“Please, someone with a gun is here,” Alessandra, 26, pleaded with the operator in the call dated June 23, as obtained by the Miami Herald.

“He just pointed a gun at me, and they’re still here,” she continued. “I need to tell my mom not to come home. They might be looking for her. She’s a victim.”

At that moment, Alessandra was unaware that her mother had already spotted the suspect “brandishing a firearm and running toward her vehicle” when she returned home from church that morning, as detailed in court documents.

Tatiana reacted swiftly, honking her horn and driving her SUV into the backyard in an attempt to escape the armed assailant, who pursued her on foot before turning back towards the front of the house.

The commotion drew Alessandra outside, where she encountered the gunman but found no sign of her mother.

“Can I call my mom, please?” she pleaded with the dispatcher, who advised her to stay on the line until law enforcement arrived.

Checking her mom’s location on her phone, Alessandra soon realized that her mother was indeed nearby.

“Oh my gosh, my mom is here,” she exclaimed in panic. “They might have shot her.”

The FBI raided the real estate mogul’s Coral Gables mansion last week.

Just over three minutes into the call, Alessandra informed the dispatcher that the threat appeared to have departed.

“I think they’re gone,” she relayed to the dispatcher.

An unidentified neighbor arrived in a golf cart and reported seeing the would-be attacker fleeing with a getaway driver.

“I’m going to the front of my house to check if my mom is there,” Alessandra informed the 911 dispatcher.

The call ended abruptly before the mother and daughter could be reunited.

Authorities utilized surveillance footage to trace two vehicles linked to the alarming incident, leading to the arrest of the alleged gunman Vernon Green, 53, along with three other suspects: Fausto Villar, Bayron Bennett, and Avery Bivens.

Sergio Pino reportedly paid the group $150,000 to carry out the murder of his wife by June 24. The Century Homebuilders Group president purportedly dangled a $150,000 bonus if the crime could not be traced back to him, according to court records.

During her police interview, Tatiana Pino disclosed that her estranged husband had made multiple attempts on her life since 2019, including poisoning her with fentanyl and setting fire to her sister’s car on two occasions.

Last August, Pino allegedly rented a Home Depot truck that collided with Tatiana’s car while she was parked in her driveway.

Tatiana Pino and Sergio Pino were married for 32 years.

Green and the other three suspects involved in the June 23 incident are now facing various charges, including murder for hire, stalking, and possession of a firearm in connection with a violent crime.

Pino, aged 67, tragically took his own life during an FBI raid on his Coral Gables residence on July 16, before he could be formally charged in relation to the alleged conspiracy.

Tatiana hinted to law enforcement that her husband may have had a “financial motive” behind the plot to have her killed, although specific details were not provided. Pino’s net worth was estimated to be around $153 million, as reported by WTVJ.
