'Walkabout Mini Golf' Gets Wallace & Gromit Course This Week, Trailer Here

Walkabout Mini Golf developer Mighty Coconut has announced the highly anticipated ‘Wallace & Gromit’ paid DLC course, set to launch this Thursday.

Beginning July 25th, players will have the opportunity to explore the iconic 62 West Wallaby Street residence of the beloved duo, where they can navigate through a series of clever contraptions and relive memorable moments from the classic films.

While not an exact replica of the original setting, the DLC course seamlessly integrates the essence of the Wallace & Gromit universe into a unique mini golf experience, with the Edwardian row house serving as the backdrop for the gameplay.

“The design of the house posed a unique challenge due to its unconventional shape. We put a lot of effort into capturing the essence of the original while adapting it for the mini golf experience,” lead modeler Edward Felix explains.

Developed in collaboration with Aardman Animation, the Wallace & Gromit DLC course features 18 holes in both easy and hard modes, a special in-game putter, and themed avatars to enhance the gameplay experience.

The paid DLC will be available on various VR platforms including Quest, PSVR 2, Pico, and SteamVR, as well as the non-VR Pocket Edition for iOS, all launching on July 25th at a price of $4.

Additionally, the studio has released a behind-the-scenes video showcasing the creative process and the partnership with Aardman.
