My Authentic Japanese Snacks Experience!
I recently had the pleasure of trying out the Flavors of Mt. Fuji box from Sakuraco, and it was a delightful surprise! The box included a variety of treats that showcased the flavors of Shizuoka and Yamanashi prefectures.
The box contained an array of snacks, including Mt. Fuji Owan Bowl, Sencha with Matcha Tea, Red Fuji Cookies, Kyoho Grape Chocolate Crunch, White Peach Milk Manju, Uji Matcha Tiramisu Baumkuchen, Kabocha Pudding Bread, Green Tea Leaf Cookies, Green Tea Dacquoise, Castella Roll Cake, Awase Fruits Jelly, Kinako Mochi, Kokeshi Doll Senbei, Ajishirabe Senbei, Ototo Soy Sauce Chips, and Miso Arare.
Enjoying these snacks not only satisfied my cravings but also provided insights into the rich history and culture behind each treat. With a mix of traditional flavors and unique designs, each snack was a delightful experience!
The combination of matcha tea and Japanese sweets was a highlight, and the attention to detail in the Red Fuji Cookies and Kokeshi Doll Senbei was impressive. Overall, Sakuraco offers a delicious and educational journey through Japanese cuisine!
My absolute favorite is the Kabocha Pudding Bread – it was incredibly soft and delicious! I truly enjoyed indulging in this delightful assortment of goodies!
To fully enjoy Sakuraco, the best way is through a subscription. Simply choose a plan and subscribe to it. Sakuraco will then deliver the boxes to you every month as long as your subscription is active.
To get your own Sakuraco box like the one I received, subscribe here!
A few things to keep in mind:
– The box is always ordered in the preceding month; for example, to receive the May box, “Mochi & Sakura Tour,” you need to subscribe before April ends (in Japan Standard Time). If you subscribe in May, you will receive Sakuraco’s June box with a different theme. Don’t worry, as they always reveal the box theme for the next month at the beginning of the preceding month. Just follow their social media accounts such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to stay updated.
Sakuraco offers various subscription plans with different prices:
– Monthly: $37.5 per box, charged every month
– 3 Month Prepaid Plan: $35.5 per box, charged every 3 months
– 6 Month Prepaid Plan: $33.5 per box, charged every 6 months
– 12 Month Prepaid Plan: $32.5 per box, charged every 12 months
Prepaid plans are more cost-effective and convenient compared to monthly plans. You won’t have to worry about renewing your plan every month. The prepaid plan is highly recommended, especially if you enjoy Japanese authentic snacks.
Aside from Sakuraco, you can explore their other box treats with different themes.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to discover Sakuraco and taste Japanese treats even while being away from Japan. I encourage you to try it as well and savor the experience as much as I did. You won’t be disappointed!
