Apocalyptic shooter SYNCED is shutting down in September
Level Infinite has made the decision to shut down their free-to-play looter shooter SYNCED later this year.
SYNCED will be officially discontinued on September 9, 2024. This closure comes almost exactly one year after the game’s initial launch in 2023.
Following this announcement, microtransactions and the ability to create new accounts for the game have been suspended. By the shutdown date, players will no longer have access to play or download SYNCED.
For players still actively engaged with the game, the news of its closure may not be unexpected. The lack of significant updates since March of this year, combined with a dwindling player base, has ultimately led to the game’s demise.
Currently, SYNCED remains accessible for PC users through Steam. Plans for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game have been scrapped in light of this shutdown announcement.
