The Garmin Fenix 7 series and Epix Gen 2 were released in January 2022, so new models are expected soon. Rumors have been circulating about the launch of the Fenix 8 and its new features in the coming months.

Leaks have started to surface as the launch date approaches. Information gathered from Reddit, the5krunner, and Gadgets & wearables suggests that the new Fenix 8 models may be introduced with various updates.

According to a leak from Finish retailer Multitronic.fi, placeholder pages for the new watches have been published, revealing the expected prices for the different models.

The leaked prices are as follows:
– 51mm model priced at €1095.90 (£928 / $1180)
– 47mm model priced at €995.90 (£843 / $1073)
– 43mm model priced at €995.90 (£843 / $1073)

The Garmin Fenix E is also anticipated to be released, but details are scarce at this time. It is speculated to be the successor to the Garmin Enduro 2, featuring a sunlight-visible, transflective MIP display and solar capabilities for extended battery life.

The new Garmin Fenix 8 is expected to include an AMOLED display, replacing the MIPs display found in previous models. This update may effectively make it the Epix Gen 3, with the Epix name being phased out.

Prices for the new models are expected to be significantly higher than the current offerings, with a reported 25% increase for the 47mm model compared to the Garmin Epix Pro (Gen 2).

Features such as advanced sensors for health tracking, smartwatch functionalities, wireless charging, and expanded storage are rumored to be included in the Fenix 8. Additionally, LTE connectivity and a built-in microphone for voice assistant access and calls may also be part of the new model.

Recent FCC filings for a new Garmin device indicate potential features such as BLE, ANT, and LTE connectivity, suggesting that the Fenix 8 or a related device may be launching soon.

Overall, the Garmin Fenix 8 is expected to bring significant upgrades and improvements over its predecessor, offering advanced features and capabilities for fitness enthusiasts and tech-savvy users alike.
