New Resident Evil in development under Resident Evil 7 director Koshi Nakanishi

Capcom has announced the next entry in the Resident Evil franchise is in development with Resident Evil 7 biohazard director Koshi Nakanishi at the helm.
The news was confirmed during Capcom NEXT this evening towards the end of the program, with very scant details from Nakanishi:
“We’re making a new Resident Evil,” Nakanishi said in the program. “It was really difficult to figure out what to do after (Resident Evil) 7. But I found it, and to be honest, it feels substantial. I can’t share any details just yet, but I hope you’re excited for the day I can.”
Nakanishi originally worked on Resident Evil 5 as a main designer, Resident Evil: Revelations as director, and the aforementioned Resident Evil 7 biohazard as director.
