Turns out the Triforce might have, sort of, been hiding in plain sight in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom all along

The search for the Triforce in Zelda: Breath of the Wild and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been a topic of discussion for some players. However, one player may have discovered it in an unexpected way.

While the Triforce is a well-known symbol in the Zelda series, it doesn’t always play a significant role in the main storyline of certain games. Both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom featured the Triforce symbol in various locations, but the actual Triforce itself was absent. It was rarely mentioned in the game, making it one of the Zelda games where the Triforce seems less important. However, a Reddit user made an interesting discovery, as highlighted by GamesRadar.

The post shared on the Tears of the Kingdom subreddit shows images of the game’s three dragons, Dinraal, Naydra, and Farosh. The user, TheMathNut, pointed out that “about halfway up on each elemental dragon is a piece of the Triforce.” This discovery is intriguing as the user believed the dragons symbolized the three goddesses. This post has garnered attention on the subreddit, as spotting this Easter Egg can be quite challenging. Even players who have spent time interacting with these dragons may have missed this detail.

While these triangles serve as a nod to the Triforce, rather than the powerful wish-granting artifact itself, it’s still a clever addition that many fans may have overlooked. Unfortunately, further exploration of this detail is unlikely, as Nintendo has stated that there are no plans for DLC in Tears of the Kingdom. It will remain a subtle reference to the iconic symbol of the series.
