Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is real, and it’s coming to Nintendo Switch in 2025
Exciting news for Metroid fans! Nintendo has finally unveiled Metroid Prime 4 with a new subtitle.
After years of anticipation, Metroid Prime 4 made its debut in today’s Nintendo Direct presentation. The game, titled Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, will see the return of Samus Aran in 2025. Despite rumors of a new Nintendo Switch model, the game will be available on the current Nintendo Switch console, so fans can dive into the action without needing to upgrade.

The trailer showcases gameplay that stays true to the Prime series, with first-person perspective and intense combat. Samus will once again utilize her morph ball ability and engage in epic space battles. While the trailer hints at a new alien planet reminiscent of Avatar, it mainly serves as a teaser for what’s to come. Fans can rejoice in the fact that Metroid Prime 4 is set for release next year.
