Bruce Lipton Explains How Fear Influences Biology and Causes Illness and Disease In The Body

Speaker: BRUCE LIPTON, Author “The Biology of Belief

It has been discovered that stress, which is generated by fear, is responsible for up to 90% of all diseases. It is crucial to release fear and change our consciousness. Chronic fear chemistry is the root cause of many health problems. By changing our mindset, we can change the chemistry in our bodies and empower ourselves. Today, I will discuss how fear influences our biology.

Epigenetics teaches us that the composition of our blood controls our genetic activity. The chemistry of our blood is influenced by the perceptions we hold in our mind. When we hold a perception of fear, our body releases chemicals in the blood to prepare for protection from the perceived threat.

When we experience fear, our body goes into a fight-or-flight response, mobilizing energy to respond to the threat. This response involves the release of stress hormones like cortisol and norepinephrine, as well as agents that affect the immune system. The collective response of the chemistry of fear in the blood redirects the flow of energy in our body.

The blood controls the energy flow in our body, directing nutrients and resources where they are needed. In a state of fear, the blood flow is redirected to the arms and legs, preparing us for fight-or-flight. This shift in energy usage is a physiological response to fear.

When fear is present in our mind, stress hormones cause blood vessels in the gut to shut down, redirecting blood to the arms and legs for the fight-or-flight response. This can lead to the sensation of “butterflies in the stomach.” Additionally, fear hormones conserve energy by shutting down mechanisms not necessary for fight-or-flight, including the immune system.

Stress hormones inhibit the immune system to conserve energy for fight-or-flight. This can leave the body vulnerable to infections and inflammations. Chronic fear can lead to a breakdown in the body’s maintenance and immune defenses, making us more susceptible to disease.

In today’s world, where stress is constant and ongoing, the consequences of living in fear can be severe. Stress, generated by fear, is responsible for a majority of diseases. It is not our genes causing these illnesses, but the impact of stress on our biology. The prolonged exposure to fear can lead to the deterioration of our health and well-being.

The root cause of disease is chronic fear, as explained by Bruce Lipton. Fear is often just a product of our programming, influenced by beliefs instilled in us by others. These fear-based beliefs trigger stress chemistry in our body, leading to negative impacts on our health.

To combat this, we must change our consciousness and let go of fear-based thoughts. By replacing fear with thoughts of love, happiness, and health, we can shift our mindset and alter the chemistry within our bodies. This shift empowers us to live a healthier life, free from the constraints of fear-induced illnesses.

By recognizing that the majority of diseases stem from fear, we have the power to change our perception and rewrite our body’s chemistry. By consciously redirecting our thoughts towards positivity, we can enhance our vitality and thrive in all aspects of life.
