After a rocky year, Risk of Rain 2's next bit of DLC looks to offer some stable ground

Gearbox, the publisher of Risk of Rain 2, has announced a new expansion called Alloyed Collective. The Risk of Rain team has enlisted additional help to work on this DLC, which is still in development. The expansion is said to include six new stages set in Solus-controlled territory, two new survivors, seven new drones, seven new enemy types, and 15 new items. Players can expect a lot of new content in this upcoming release.

Players will be able to explore various environments such as cliffside scrapyards, machinery-choked fortresses, and buried caverns. Additionally, a new station will allow players to modify drones to suit their needs. It’s worth noting that only one player in a group needs to purchase Alloyed Collective to access the new stages, items, and monsters. However, certain features like new survivors and permanent unlockables may be restricted for those who haven’t purchased the DLC.

Seekers of the Storm, the previous DLC, faced criticism upon launch due to numerous bugs. With the new team members on board for Alloyed Collective, fans are hopeful for a smoother release. Stay tuned for more updates on the release date of this exciting expansion.
