Get a 10 minute look at Elden Ring Nightreign’s systems

Bandai Namco has unveiled a 10-minute gameplay footage for Elden Ring Nightreign, showcasing the game’s systems and characters. The video provides an in-depth look at the world of Limveld, the available characters, and the new gameplay mechanics unique to Nightreign.

Exploring Limveld in Elden Ring Nightreign is no easy task. The world is teeming with formidable enemies, military bases, and dynamic events that can alter the course of your journey. Players can venture together in groups of three or opt to go solo to uncover the mysteries of the land. Dungeons offer valuable gear and treasures, while bases hold crucial information about the world. The landscape of Limveld is ever-changing, with meteor strikes, lava eruptions, and sudden forest appearances reshaping the terrain. Nightfall brings even greater challenges, as powerful enemies emerge in a shrinking play area, forcing players to strategize and level up during the day.

Character customization in Elden Ring Nightreign differs from its predecessor, as players must choose from six distinct heroes. Each character, such as Raider, Ironeye, Wylder, Guardian, Recluse, and Duchess, possesses unique abilities and playstyles. Unraveling their backstories through memory fragments unlocks new objectives for players to conquer.

Between battles, players can visit the Roundtable Hold to equip relics that enhance their stats and skills. The Hold also features a Jar merchant for purchasing items and a costume unlock section for changing the appearance of your character.

Elden Ring Nightreign will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on May 30th.
