Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon release date set for May 23rd

Publisher Awaken Realms has revealed that Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, the sequel to Tainted Grail: Conquest, is set to launch its full 1.0 version on May 23rd. The game will be released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series XS. For those unfamiliar with Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, it is an open world fantasy action RPG with a dynamic storyline.

Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon will feature three expansive regions ready for exploration: the Misty Horns of the South, the sun-kissed Cuanacht, and the icy Forlorn Swords. Within these regions, players can expect over 200 side quests, 250 unique NPCs, 400 weapons and shields, a spell inventory of 50+, numerous dungeons, 100+ enemy types, and a main quest with multiple endings based on player choices. A significant update for the full release is the addition of a third-person perspective, alongside the original first-person perspective.

Awaken Realms is now accepting applications for testing the 1.0 version of Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon. Interested individuals can fill out the playtest form for a chance to access the game early, though some content may still be in development. Testers will also have access to an exclusive Discord channel to provide direct feedback to the development team.

In our Tainted Grail: Conquest review, Jason praised the game, stating, “Any game so good that you can’t resist doing just one more battle in is a game well worth paying attention to, and Tainted Grail definitely manages that.”
