"Can we find the resources to do it? I don't know" Rebellion's CEO on the likelihood of an Atomfall sequel

It’s always a bit strange when people compare a new game to a beloved one, as it often leads to disappointment. Atomfall was recently dubbed as the British Fallout, but it didn’t quite live up to that expectation. Despite some mixed reviews, developer Rebellion is considering a sequel.

Rebellion CEO Jason Kingsley discussed Atomfall in a recent interview, expressing his satisfaction with the game’s reception. While he acknowledges the positive response, he believes there is room for improvement in the scale of their projects.

Kingsley mentioned the desire to create more successful titles like Sniper Elite, Zombie Army, and Strange Brigade. The success of Atomfall has sparked interest in a sequel, but resources may be a limiting factor.

Rebellion, known for their Sniper series, continues to thrive in the gaming industry. Whether a sequel to Atomfall will be developed remains uncertain, but fans can expect more exciting projects from the studio in the future.
