Star Wars Zero Company is a turn-based tactics game coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series XS

EA recently announced the development of Star Wars Zero Company in collaboration with BitReactor and Respawn. The game, set during the final stages of The Clone Wars, is revealed to be a turn-based tactics game reminiscent of XCOM.

The narrative focuses on Hawks, a former Republic Officer, and his group, Zero Company, consisting of mercenaries with unique skills. The diverse team includes a droid for hacking, a Force-sensitive Jedi, a gadget-wielding Mandalorian, a Clone Trooper, and an assassin. Despite their differences, they must work together to succeed.

The gameplay trailer showcases the strategic turn-based combat of Star Wars Zero Company, emphasizing positioning and utilizing abilities efficiently. Outside of battles, Hawks and the team establish a base of operations to gather intelligence and locate targets.

Greg Foertsch, CEO and Creative Director at Bit Reactor, explains the game’s focus on blending the Star Wars universe with engaging tactics gameplay and player choices. Douglas Reilly, GM & VP of Lucasfilm Games, expresses excitement for the tactical gameplay and meaningful choices in the upcoming title.

Star Wars Zero Company is scheduled for release in 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series XS, and PC, and is currently available for wishlisting.
