How Musk manages his growing family: WSJ

Elon Musk has stated that he believes it is his responsibility to “make new humans.” A recent investigation by the Wall Street Journal suggests that Musk may have more than the 14 children currently known, with sources indicating that the actual number could be much higher. The report also reveals how Musk keeps this information confidential.

At the heart of this situation is Jared Birchall, a long-time associate who oversees Musk’s family office and manages the logistics of Musk’s expanding family. Birchall is responsible for handling agreements, such as drafting non-disclosure agreements, and supporting the mothers of some of Musk’s children.

One notable example is Musk’s alleged request for conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair to sign a restrictive agreement after she gave birth to their son. The agreement reportedly offered $15 million upfront and an additional $100,000 per month until the child reached 21 years of age in exchange for her silence. St. Clair declined the offer, leading to escalating tensions. (St. Clair mentioned that Musk’s team only sent her $20,000 after being contacted by the Journal for comment on the article.)

Birchall, who also serves as the CEO of Neuralink and a partner at xAI, appears to have his hands full managing Musk’s personal affairs. According to the Journal, Birchall advised St. Clair during a two-hour call that pursuing legal action against Musk typically results in a less favorable outcome for the woman involved.
