Aerosmith's Steven Tyler put scarves on mic to 'hide his pills,' says daughter

Steven Tyler was known for living on the edge.

The rocker’s daughter shared insights into his “extremely wild” past and explained why the Aerosmith frontman, aged 77, always adorned his microphone with scarves during performances.

Mia Tyler, 46, the younger sister of actress Liv Tyler, 47, delved into her father’s rockstar days on the “Sibling Revelry” podcast.

During the discussion, Mia revealed the reason behind her father’s scarf-covered microphones, suggesting it was not just a fashion statement.

“The story of why he has scarves on his microphone is because he liked to hide his pills and whatnot,” Mia alleged on the podcast. “So he could do them live on stage.”

She also claimed that scarves were not the only place where Steven allegedly hid things.

“He would have little pockets sewn so he could be on stage and just take whatever it was that he was [ingesting],” Mia stated.

The Post reached out to Aerosmith’s representative for comment.
