Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 introduces Gustave in new trailer

Publisher Kepler Interactive and developer Sandfall Interactive shared a character trailer for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 introducing one of its protagonists, Gustave.

Here’s a rundown on the character, plus the new trailer:

“For those who come after.”

Meet Gustave, the resourceful and dedicated engineer from Lumière.

Gustave grew up feeling suffocated by the Paintress’ constant presence. He has dedicated his life to the city’s defense and agricultural systems, striving to protect and provide for his people. Now, as an Expeditioner, he devotes his final year of life to defeating the Paintress and reclaiming a future for Lumière’s children.

This is the first in our series of character trailers, which explore the gameplay and motivations of the key members of Expedition 33 as they set course to destroy the Paintress… so that she may never paint death again.
