Trump announces he'll buy brand new Tesla to support Elon Musk's 'baby' following boycotts, dropping stock

President Trump announced his intention to purchase a Tesla in order to show support for Elon Musk, the CEO of the electric car company, and his efforts amidst plummeting stock prices and boycotts. These actions were triggered by Musk’s association with the White House and his role in reducing government spending and jobs.

In a statement on Truth Social, Trump defended Musk against protests organized by the “Radical Left Lunatics” and pledged his support for the entrepreneur. He praised Musk for his contributions to the nation and criticized those attempting to boycott Tesla, referring to it as one of the world’s leading automakers and Musk’s “baby.”

Trump emphasized his plan to purchase a Tesla the following day as a gesture of confidence and support for Musk, acknowledging him as a great American who should not be penalized for his efforts to contribute to the country’s progress.

He questioned the motives of those targeting Musk and Tesla, citing the recent decline in the company’s stock price since his presidency began. The stock has dropped significantly in the past month and since the start of the year.

Trump said he will buy a Tesla to support DOGE head Elon Musk's "baby" after the electric car manufacturer has faced plummeting stock and boycotts over its billionaire CEO's work with the White House.
