Meghan Markle's 'malarkey' Netflix show slammed by brother

Meghan Markle’s Half-Brother Criticizes Her Netflix Series

Thomas Markle Jr., Meghan Markle’s estranged half-brother, gave a harsh review of the Duchess of Sussex’s new Netflix show.

Describing the eight episodes of “With Love, Meghan” as “bland” and “generic” on the UK’s “TalkTV” show, Thomas also refuted Meghan’s childhood stories as “malarkey.”

Thomas, 58, disputed Meghan’s claims that she grew up watching cooking shows and cooking regularly, stating that it was not the case. He mentioned that while their mother was a great cook, Meghan did not cook for anyone while growing up.

Thomas also denied Meghan’s claims of growing up eating fast food and being poor, stating that her life was the complete opposite of what she portrayed.

He mentioned that Meghan did not have to struggle financially and often dined at upscale restaurants in Hollywood.

Thomas expressed feeling sorry and embarrassed for Meghan and even joked about changing his last name to Sussex, following in her footsteps.

He mentioned that he does not mind Meghan not using the Markle surname anymore, as it would help him and Samantha redeem themselves from the tarnished image associated with the name.

Notably, Meghan corrected Mindy Kaling in her show for not using Sussex as her last name, emphasizing the importance of family identity.

The series mentions Meghan and Prince Harry’s children, but they do not appear on the show. In a brief cameo, Prince Harry expressed his pride in his wife.

Thomas Jr., Samantha, and their father, Thomas Markle, have been vocal in criticizing Meghan over the years. Thomas Jr. joked about needing heart medication for his father to watch Meghan’s show.
