My wallet is currently weeping over The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom soundtrack that costs £230

Attention music lovers of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, I regret to inform you that the game’s CD boxset comes with a hefty price tag of £230.

Last month, the official Japanese Zelda Twitter account unveiled a range of exciting Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom merchandise, including a massive boxset containing the entire soundtrack of the game. This boxset would undoubtedly be a prized possession for any Zelda enthusiast and a convenient way to enjoy the soundtrack without relying on streaming services. The boxset is now available for pre-order on Amazon, but the catch is the steep price of £230.

The boxset includes a total of “344 songs on 9 CDs, including songs from the game and songs used in trailers,” totaling approximately 11 hours of music. While this may seem like a vast amount, it showcases the extensive soundtrack of the game.

In addition to the soundtrack, the boxset also includes a Master Sword shaped USB stick, providing high-resolution and 5.1-channel sound sources to enhance the gaming experience. Despite the impressive contents, the price tag may deter some potential buyers.

Aside from the boxset, Bandai announced the production of a physical replica of the Master Sword as part of its Proplica line, along with a book featuring artwork and more. Fans are hopeful for an official English translation of the book in the future.
