Google Gemini 2.0 AI Model Available to Everyone

Google has introduced its latest Gemini AI model, Gemini 2.0, to the public, offering three different versions for users to explore.
In mid-December, Google unveiled Gemini 2.0, highlighting advancements in multimodality such as native image and audio output. Initially, the AI model was only accessible to developers and selected testers.
Recently, Google DeepMind CTO Koray Kavukcuoglu announced in a blog post titled ‘Gemini 2.0 is now available to everyone’.
Three flavours of Gemini 2.0
Now, anyone can try out Gemini 2.0 Flash within the Gemini app or through the Gemini API in Google AI Studio and Vertex AI. This model is designed to handle high volume, high-frequency tasks efficiently.
Additionally, Google has introduced Gemini 2.0 Experimental Advanced Pro, which focuses on coding performance and complex prompts, showcasing a better understanding of world knowledge with 2 million context window tokens.
On the other end of the spectrum, Google has released Gemini 2.0 Flash-Lite, a cost-efficient model available as a public preview, offering improved quality at a lower cost compared to Gemini 2.0 Flash.
All three models support multimodal input with text output, with image generation and text-to-speech features expected to be added soon.
