Bianca Censori’s ‘confidence’ turned to ‘fear’ at Grammys 2025: body language expert

When Bianca Censori dropped her coat to reveal a completely see-through dress at the Grammys 2025 red carpet, what was going through her mind?

Although the model initially appeared “confident” and “superior” upon her arrival at the awards show, body language expert Judi James suggested that her demeanor shifted to “fear” and “nervousness.”

“Her glance up at Kanye [West] before she removed [her outerwear] suggested a flicker of what looked like nerves,” James told the Daily Mail on Tuesday.

“It looked like nervousness made her break her own posing rule by laughing at one point,” she continued.

The expert went on to claim that Censori’s expression changed to “one that suppressed fear” after making the “ultimate, attention-seeking statement by baring it all.”

James alleged that Censori experienced a “shift in emotional state,” explaining, “Her legs crossed, and the way she placed her hands uncharacteristically awkwardly on her hips hinted at some last-minute anxiety.”

Regarding West’s body language, James told the outlet that the rapper’s “moody expression showed barely a flicker of change” during the headline-making moment.

Lip reader Nicola Hickling told the Daily Mail on Monday that the Grammy winner, 47, seemingly instructed Censori to “drop [the coat] behind you and then turn.”

“Make a scene. … I got you,” West allegedly said as Censori shook her head before appearing to say, “Alright, let’s go.”

The couple immediately exited the event, with Censori swapping her mesh dress for a sheer thong bodysuit at an afterparty where she and West packed on the PDA.

The architectural designer, who married the Yeezy creator in December 2022, proved she didn’t have a care in the world as she sang and danced the night away.

Many have expressed concern over the pair’s viral step-and-repeat stunt, for which TMZ reported she will not face legal consequences.

Meghan McCain blasted West as “a repugnant, vile piece of garbage” who has taken his partner “hostage” in a since-deleted social media upload.

The “View” co-host Alyssa Farrah Griffin, for her part, expressed concern on Monday’s show following the “uncomfortable” moment.

That same day, Armie Hammer’s ex-wife, Elizabeth Chambers, insisted to her Instagram followers that West was exhibiting “control at its finest.”
