Exciting news for PlayStation owners as another mainstay Xbox franchise is making its way to the PS5 this spring. Forza Horizon 5, developed by Panic Button in collaboration with Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games, will be available with all previously released car packs, as well as the Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure expansions.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer’s recent comments about not keeping games exclusive to their platform align with this move. Rumors of other core Xbox franchises like Halo, Gears of War, and Microsoft Flight Simulator potentially coming to PlayStation have been circulating. Bethesda’s Doom: The Dark Ages, Indiana Jones, and Obsidian’s The Outer Worlds 2 have already been confirmed for multi-platform releases.

Forza Horizon 5, the latest installment in Playground Games’ open-world arcade racing series, transports players to a stunning virtual representation of Mexico. Originally released in 2021 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC, the game has received numerous updates, car packs, and expansions. PlayStation 5 players can expect a top-tier gaming experience upon its arrival.

In our review of Forza Horizon 5, we gave it a stellar 9 out of 10 rating. The game has been praised for surpassing its predecessor, Forza Horizon 4, and serving as a graphical showcase for the new generation of Xbox consoles.
