Rising TikTok star Nahsiyah Turner dead at 17, cause of death revealed

17-year-old rising TikTok star Nahsiyah Turner, known as Siyah to her followers, tragically passed away in a shooting outside a Southern California mall.

Turner, a social media influencer with over 310,000 TikTok followers, succumbed to a gunshot wound to the chest.

The incident took place on January 18 at the Los Cerritos Center shopping center, where police found Turner unresponsive inside a vehicle. She was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead.

The investigation into Turner’s death is still ongoing, with Lit. Steve DeJong of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Homicide Bureau stating that it will take some time.

Following the news of her tragic passing, Turner’s social media followers have flooded her final post with tributes and messages of love.

Turner’s final video, a 15-second dance clip posted just days before the shooting, has left her fans heartbroken.

Last week, a gathering of Siyah’s followers paid their respects to her by bringing candles, flowers, and signed notes, as seen in a video shared on the platform.

Many signed a tribute poster and released balloons into the air in memory of Turner, whose cheerful videos had earned her a large following on TikTok and Instagram.
