Akasa Air expands connectivity with additional flights to Prayagraj for Maha Kumbh 2025, ET TravelWorld


Akasa Air has announced additional flights to Prayagraj in response to heightened demand during the Maha Kumbh 2025. From January 27 to February 28, 2025, the airline will operate daily flights connecting Prayagraj with Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru via Delhi. Furthermore, between January 28 and February 26, 2025, Akasa Air will offer direct flights from Ahmedabad and Bengaluru to Prayagraj, ensuring convenient travel options for pilgrims. Bookings for these special flights are now available on Akasa Air’s website, mobile app, and through leading online travel agencies.

Since beginning operations from Prayagraj in May 2024, Akasa Air has focused on enhancing connectivity to support the significant movement of people for events like the Maha Kumbh. As one of the largest spiritual gatherings in the world, the Maha Kumbh draws millions of pilgrims, and these additional flights aim to provide increased accessibility to the event, while also reflecting Akasa’s commitment to supporting India’s cultural heritage.
