Noida International Airport partners with Mahindra Logistics to launch all-electric premium taxi service, ET TravelWorld

Noida International Airport (NIA) has announced a collaboration with Mahindra Logistics Mobility to introduce a premium, all-electric taxi service for passengers. This partnership will see Mahindra Logistics operating a fleet of 100% electric vehicles, providing passengers with an eco-friendly and comfortable transport option. The service will feature dedicated pickup and drop-off zones at the arrival and departure kerbs, ensuring minimal walking distances.

The service will be available 24/7, offering seamless and sustainable transportation for travellers. Passengers will be able to book rides through various channels, including a dedicated mobile app, website, call centre, airline alliances, and airport kiosks, ensuring ease and accessibility.

Christoph Schnellmann, CEO of Noida International Airport, commented, “We are excited to partner with Mahindra Logistics Mobility to offer a seamless, environment-friendly ride directly from the airport to the destination. This all-electric taxi service sets a new standard for passenger convenience and environmental responsibility, enhancing the overall airport experience.”

The service model will also prioritise safety and efficiency, with drivers undergoing rigorous training in airport protocols and customer service. The fleet will be managed based on real-time demand and flight schedules, reducing wait times and extending availability. A feedback mechanism will be in place to continually improve service quality.

This partnership further highlights NIA’s commitment to sustainability with an all-electric fleet, reinforcing the airport’s vision of becoming an environmentally responsible transport hub.

The first phase of Noida International Airport will feature one runway and terminal, catering to 12 million passengers annually. Upon completion of all phases, the airport will have the capacity to handle 70 million passengers per year.
