Flavor Flav claims NBC kicked him out of Backstreet Boys' dressing room at Rockefeller Christmas Tree lighting

Flavor Flav expressed his disappointment after NBC officials allegedly asked him to leave the Backstreet Boys dressing room at the Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting event in NYC on Wednesday night.

The star-studded holiday extravaganza featured performances by the Backstreet Boys, Kelly Clarkson, and other famous faces to kick off the festive season.

Despite the festive atmosphere, Flavor Flav claimed that security approached him backstage when he was trying to meet the Backstreet Boys.

In a now-deleted post, the rapper, 65, revealed the incident, stating, “I feel weird… I was invited to the Rockefeller Tree Lighting tonight and I was escorted to see my boys… THE BACKSTREET BOYS… and we were backstage in their dressing room… security came up to me and said: @nbc Does not want me in this area and I need to leave.”

Flavor Flav deleted the post but later shared another post saying, “I deleted the tweet… but my spirit is broken.”

The Post has reached out to NBC and the Backstreet Boys’ representatives for comment on the situation.

Despite the setback, Flavor Flav, also known as William Drayton Jr., was seen enjoying the tree lighting event from the crowd after the Backstreet Boys defended him to security.

During the event, the Backstreet Boys performed “The Christmas Song” and “Last Christmas,” while Kelly Clarkson sang “Underneath the Tree” as the 74-foot Norway Spruce lit up the Manhattan sky.

The Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting event also featured performances by Jennifer Hudson, Coco Jones, Thalia, Raye, and the iconic Radio City Rockettes, making it a memorable start to the holiday season.
