8BitDo’s new controller is perfect for Android phones of all sizes
8BitDo originally gained popularity by tapping into nostalgia, but the company has expanded its product line to include innovative gaming products at affordable prices. One of its latest offerings is the Ultimate Mobile Gaming Controller, a controller designed for mobile gaming that aims to provide a comfortable and familiar gaming experience.
The controller features a design similar to traditional console and PC controllers, making it larger and potentially more comfortable than other mobile grip controllers on the market. Additionally, it utilizes Hall effect sensors for both the triggers and analog sticks, ensuring durability and longevity without the risk of stick drift.
What sets the 8BitDo Ultimate Mobile Gaming Controller apart from its competitors is its customization options. Users can program the button layout, including two extra rear buttons, using 8BitDo’s PC app. They can also adjust sensitivity settings for the sticks and triggers to suit their preferences. The controller’s device-agnostic slider can accommodate a wide range of phone sizes, making it compatible with devices up to 170mm wide/tall.
Despite its advanced features, the 8BitDo Ultimate Mobile Gaming Controller is priced at just $50, making it a cost-effective option compared to other similar controllers on the market. Pre-orders are currently available, with the controller set to start shipping on November 29th.
