17-Year-Old Girl Fatally Shot in Queens

A tragic incident occurred in Queens on Saturday evening as a 17-year-old girl was shot in the head and killed, according to the NYPD.

Police officers responded to a home in Holliswood, Queens, at 5:13 p.m. where they discovered the teenage girl unconscious and bleeding from a head wound.

Despite being rushed by EMS to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, the victim could not be saved.

Authorities recovered a gun from the scene, although no charges have been filed yet.

While a 16-year-old boy is being questioned in connection to the incident, no arrests have been made as per police sources.

The investigation into this tragic event is ongoing.
