A 14-Year-Old Girl Left in the Woods by Man Who Used Her for Sex

Authorities report that a 14-year-old girl was abandoned in the woods by a man who had used her for sex after discovering her age.

The teenager from Tennessee met Alexander Materne, 28, while playing an online video game. Materne then took her from her home on Dec. 23 to his residence in St. Rose, Louisiana, as per the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.

During their time together, the girl revealed her age to Materne while engaging in sexual activities, leading him to leave her in the Louisiana wilderness in Tangipahoa Parish. Materne then left to celebrate Christmas with his family.

After the girl went missing for an extended period, her family discovered the relationship with Materne. They contacted his family members and located the girl at the Christmas party.

Sheriff’s deputies intervened and forced Materne to reveal where he had left the girl in the woods.

The girl was found in good health and taken to a hospital for examination. Materne was arrested on charges of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile and Aggravated Kidnapping of a Child.
